Pontiac 400 cu. in. V-8   SOLD!!!!!! Good Running 1970"s - '80's Pontiac 400 c.i.d. V8 Engine Pulled from a '95 Grandville, heads #8265. This thing ran great when pulled but just drinks water after we re-installed it. It doesn't loose a drop until you start it. Then it will suck the radiator dry inless than 5 minutes. And it runs great while it does it. Water comes out both exhaust pipes and into the pan. But puts no pressure into the radiator. No bubbles or foaming.We've checked the heads, gaskets, top of the block, cylinders, water pump housing, vacumn lines. No help. Personally I think it is the intake manifold cracked internally but health demands I don't do this stuff anymore so..............
